Lan & Josh

A Return to the Blog

After a bit of a Winter hiatus the wedding season is coming around for me again. The quiet months provided Hannah & myself the opportunity to begin house hunting to make space for a walking & exploring Evelyn. Moving furniture, staging our current home, meeting with accountants & brokers while keeping a hawks eye on Evelyn’s ever growing skills set while finishing off the previous wedding season, combine to create quite a challenge in time management. As any parent will tell you we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Lan & Josh (A Throwback Thursday Post)

I start off this wedding season with a throwback post to December 2017 for the Wedding of Lan & Josh. This wedding combined a mix of Vietnamese tradition in the morning with a tea ceremony with a Catholic service at midday and a Town Hall finale which made this a memorable day for the couple and guests alike.

Both Josh & Lan prepared at their respective parents homes in Gawler. Lan wore a traditional Red Vietnamese wedding dress for the morning tea ceremony and then changed to her white wedding gown before departing for the ceremony at Saint’s Peter & Paul’s Cathedral in Gawler.

For Josh his suit was supplied by ‘Tailor made through Ignition’. Lan’s Elegant Dress was supplied by Bridal on Pultney. Little Love Co added colour to the wedding with their flower arrangements. For Lan & Josh’s photo locations we went to the Adelaide railway station with a small stroll down Peel street with drinks and a little gaming on their Nintendo Switches at the Lady Burra Brewhouse. The reception held at Adelaide Town Hall was a 5 minute walk from the Lady Burra. This made for easy logistics on the day.
