Kirilie and Pauls Sidewood estate wedding photography. In the heart of the Adelaide Hills, Kirilie and Paul declared their vows in the warm and inviting surrounds of Sidewood Estate.
Paul & Kirile prepared at their respective family homes in Mount Barker. The wedding was a beautiful blending of 2 families coming together. With their grown up children acting as Groomsmen and Bridesmaids for the occasion. Paul and Kirilie chose Sidewood Estate for its eclectic mix of art, sculptures, fine food and gorgeous surrounds. Sidewood is a relative newcomer to hosting weddings. With Kirilie and Pauls wedding being one of the first for the venue. Once an Apple cider stall until the late 2010’s Sidewood Estate is now a cellar door offering the finest wines the Adelaide Hills has to offer. Located 2 minutes out of relatively new to the Wedding scene. Sidewood Estate is quickly becoming a great venue for couples to tie the knot. The plates served on the night of Kirilie and Paul’s Wedding were totally delicious with first class presentation.
For this wedding I also decided to run a roll of 35mm film. I wanted to test the waters and see how film photography can be incorporated into future work. Using Kodak and Fomapan B&W stock for some shots I can confidently say that film still has a place in wedding work. Shooting film definitely Brings warmth, texture and tones that digital technology simply can’t replicate. I look forward to shooting at Sidewood Estate again in the future and I commend the Sidewood team done an amazing job for Kirilie and Pauls wedding night.
