Location: Kuitpo Forest, South Australia

A little exercise in seeing the world differently. Kuitpo Forest in the Southern Adelaide Hills was this weeks destination. I think as photographers if we don’t photograph anything for an entire week we all tend to get a little bit itchy for some action Ok so we have all done that pine forest image to death so it was time to see what else I could photograph. Take a closer look and you end up discovering beautiful textures and patterns everywhere! From the moss growing on old tree stumps to the crisp lines on fallen debarked trees. The exercise was a good little reminder of the beauty that we walk past everyday without stopping and looking. Stop and smell the roses once in awhile…Or in my case…Stop and shoot the moss.
