A Summer Wedding at Marybank Farm

A rustic wedding on the edge of Adelaide’s eastern suburbs. Corrina and Trent said I-do in the picturesque surrounds of Marybank farm. The site is located around 30 minutes drive from Adelaide’s CBD. Marybank Farm has a rich history dating back to the early 1850s. Starting as a fruit orchard and vineyard, Marybank Farm has since developed into a B&B and wedding venue catering to Adelaide’s wedding couples. Its barn has been a major drawcard for many couples as a must-have wedding shoot location. For those looking to have a small cardio workout on their wedding day, the sunset views atop the vineyard hill overlooking Adelaide are definitely worth the effort.

 

The Ceremony

Trent and his groomsmen prepared at the family home in Salisbury. Meanwhile, Corinna and her bridal party were prepared at Marybank Farms bed & breakfast. The Wedding ceremony was conducted within the lush surrounds of the garden with Courtney Gugusheff of Wild Love Stories officiating the ceremony while blooming bridal provided the exquisite flowers arrangements for the wedding arbour & bridal bouquets.

The Reception

For Trent & Corinna’s wedding reception, the event was held mostly outdoors next to the Barn. Festoon lighting illuminated the surrounding space, which was provided by Bulb Lighting. For location photos, Trent & Corinna toured around the homestead and gardens. Trent & Corinna’s wedding reception was a cocktail roaming platter affair with speeches, cake cutting and bridal waltz. At the end of the night the reception finished off with a sparkler send-off for the newlywed couple.

After a year of highs and lows in dealing with Covid lockdowns, restrictions and postponements, Corrina & Trent’s wedding was a lovely way to finish 2021. Thank you, Corinna & Trent, for making the day a wonderful experience for this photographer! 🙂

After spending time on the hill, Trent and Corinna took a moment for one more photo in front of the vineyard. Afterwards they would make their big entry to the wedding reception.
