SARAH + MICHAELS Wedding at Brooklyn Farm
Sarah & Michaels Wedding at Brooklyn farm is exactly how I pictured an all Australian wedding. Picturesque, Rustic and just laid back. With the rolling hills and blue waters of Myponga its not difficult to see why Sarah & Michael chose this part of the world to say ‘I do’.
With a careful eye, the barber applies the blade to the face with a slight sense of fear in the man’s eyes. This is how it started for Michael. Well, at least when I caught up with him and the boys at Born Barbers Collective on Cross Rd. It was a different start to the usual wedding. Usually, I’m getting down to the details of rings, cuff links & ties first, but not today. On this morning it was all beard, beer & blades for the boys. Meanwhile, down south at Brooklyn Farm, Sarah & the girls would be sipping on Champagne and lounging in robes while their hair & makeup were done.
Fast forward to 4 pm guests mingled and waited for Sarah to make the final walk across the footbridge to her husband to be. Where Michael eagerly awaited under the 200 plus-year-old Gum Tree. Of which it has become the signature location for wedding ceremonies at Brooklyn Farm. After the conclusion of the Ceremony Sarah & Michael toured the surrounds of Myponga revealing spectacular views of the brown rolling hills & painted sky meeting the deep blue of Gulf St Vincent.
