A bit about me. Where do I start? Born and raised in Sydney and then moving to Adelaide in the early 90’s. I first fell in love with photography and photojournalism from an early age. A stack of National Geographic magazines neatly ordered in the family library fostered my curiosity and at a subconscious level imprinted visual inspo that I would later tap into.

Early Years before Digital Photography. Possibly 1992

During my late teens and early 20s the dawn of digital photography and the rise of the internet nurtured my increasing interest in photography with my first digital cameras. Which allowed for me for the first time to shoot, review and improve my skills without the barrier of shooting precious rolls of film.

With the rise of early social media such as Myspace and Facebook my own personal hobby transformed into the first seeds of my photography career. I found my first calling with nightclub photography documenting thousands of images from the golden age of Adelaides party scene during the late 2000’s and early 2010’s.

Finding myself getting restless with late nights and drunken antics of party goers I then pivoted to Wedding photography where I discovered the sheer joy and challenge of capturing a wedding day. Wedding photography is a career unlike anything else I’ve worked in before. Its portrait, detail, landscape, photojournalism all rolled into a single day.
