Pete and Debra’s Adelaide Oval Wedding

Introduction

Pete and Debra’s Adelaide Oval Wedding. Walking on hallowed ground is a privilege only afforded to a few. Adelaide Oval without the roar of the crowd is simply awe inspiring. Even for someone like me that doesn’t follow many sporting codes it really is a sight to behold.

To start things off Pete and his groomsmen prepared at the Majestic M suites in North Adelaide. Meanwhile Debra and the girls prepared at the Oval hotel which is part of the Adelaide Oval entertainment complex.

The Ceremony

Pete & Debra’s ceremony was conducted on the “the hill” by the historic Adelaide Oval score board. The scoreboard was specially setup with their names and wedding date. After the ceremony Pete & Debra were able to walk on the grounds for some photos before heading up to the Southern Stand. When we arrived a the Southern Stand we were treated with some incredible views of Adelaide and the Oval. Before entering the reception, Pete & Debra wanted some red vine leaves as a backdrop for one last photo. As so it happened there was a massive wall of vines adorning one of the stairwells leading up to the reception area. With some backlighting from the setting sun and perfect timing, the autumn vines created a beautiful backdrop Pete & Debra.

The Reception

Pete & Debra celebrated with family and friends at the Bodyline Bar which served up a delicious array of cocktail dishes. For Pete & Debra’s wedding reception guests they were treated to a vista that overlooked the scoreboard and the Eastern Stand.
