A Bowden Wedding with Rustic Vibe

Rian & Michelle tied the knot in November 2021 at Oddio. The venue is located in Bowden, about 7 minutes from the Adelaide CBD in South Australia. Oddio was once a Methodist Church built in 1870 but is now a boutique wine bar and function centre. The name Oddio lends itself to the Italian expression “Oh God”, pronounced as Oh-di-ohh. Old relics and artworks pay homage to the building’s former worship days inside the heritage-listed church.

Rian & Michelle chose Oddio as the place to say I-do as the venue’s aesthetics fit with their quirky and colourful tastes. During the morning, Rian and the groomsmen prepared at the Majestic M suite in North Adelaide. While Michelle and her bridesmaids prepared at the couple’s home. Before the ceremony commencement, the couple gave a first look with location photos taken around the streets of Bowden and within Oddio. Kerry Robinson and Lauren Townsend conducted the ceremony for Rian & Michelle.
